The Good Old Marble Cake

Who doesn't love the simple but delectable Marble Cake? Trying to fulfill my cravings of this good old cake, I bought ready made cakes from my nearby bakery store recently and sadly, it lacks the buttery taste and depth. And it is overly dry too.

Unsatisfied, I decide to whip up this fairly simple cake over the weekend so that I can enjoy this with a good cup of coffee or tea. I absolutely love the texture of this cake and it have a good amount of moistness to it.

Really, nothing beats to having your own homemade cakes at home!

Why use Organic Vanilla Bean?

Organic Vanilla Bean Cupcake

As bakers and decorators, we always strive to give better and fine qualities. Why do we settle for less when we can do better, right? That's why we are introducing organic vanilla bean cupcake using air flown organic vanilla. Why organic vanilla bean and not the ordinary essence? Using vanilla essence is a no no for us and given a choice, we always opt for pure vanilla extract as a replacement. Using both vanilla bean and pure vanilla extract is so essential: It adds an indescribably intoxicating aroma and subtle depth of flavor to any baked goods.

Wholesome Loaf Cake

Some like to call it bread, but I like to call it cake...or loaf cake. This is a really healthy loaf, suitable for diabetics or those who like traditional low sugar loaf cake. This dairy-free cake is made in 100% canola oil, packed with carrots, walnuts, banana, zucchini and oatmeal. I personally love the texture of the cake, it's moist and not dry.

Peach Yoghurt Cake

We at JA were searching for a healthy breakfast or a tea time cake and we came across this lovely cake and decided to test it out. This is indeed a fragrant cake, with loads of peaches and combined well with almonds. I would say that this is a refreshing cake and to those who look for some version of fruity cake, this is definately for you.

Homely Apple Cinnamon Cake

It has been a while since I made this cake and I absolutely love apple and cinnamon. It's simple yet it's so...so...I just can't describe it! The blending of the 2 main ingredients which mellows down to the cake is really fantastic. This cake is lovely by it's own, without the frills of any frosting. This is a perfect partner during tea time.
