Homely Apple Cinnamon Cake

It has been a while since I made this cake and I absolutely love apple and cinnamon. It's simple yet it's so...so...I just can't describe it! The blending of the 2 main ingredients which mellows down to the cake is really fantastic. This cake is lovely by it's own, without the frills of any frosting. This is a perfect partner during tea time.

Gifts for my friends...

These are for my two close friends, known since my old MJ days. I think it's kinda sweet for the cupcakes to be packaged in this way. I know....it's a girly thing. And not forgetting, the card on top is my new namecard!

I can't resist but to post this picture as well, it's too nice to be excluded.

From the Gardens...

There were 'Wows' from everyone when we presented this to my father in law. Imagine, what simple transformation from cupcakes to potted ones!

Dylan's Tennis Theme Birthday

Dylan is particularly fond of tennis and what else is better than to celebrate his 9th birthday with cute little tennis theme assamble. I liked the fact that it is simple but yet makes a statement. I was thrilled to know that the kids thoroughly enjoyed the cakes!!!

Dad's 70th Birthday

To celebrate this joyous occasion, I made these cupcakes with really nice strawberry liquor, packed with glorious chocolate chunks and glazed with Valrhona chocolate and of course, some royal icing flowers and handmade toppers as decorations. I am glad that the cupcakes are a hit!
